Cari has been passionate about working with college students for over the last twenty years. She received her M.S. in College Student Personnel from Western Illinois University and is pursuing her Ph.D. in Adult, Organizational Learning and Leadership here at the 妻友社区. As the Associate Dean of Students, she strives to help students navigate a variety of situations and assist them with their pursuit of success.

Cori has been supporting the Violence Prevention Programs at 妻友社区 since 2022. Cori completed her Master of Public Health with an emphasis in Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Florida and enjoys being able to apply those skills as a part of the Vandal Family now.

Cori can help you:

• Schedule a Vandal Green Dot Bystander Intervention Training.
• Plan your living group or department’s violence prevention outreach and awareness efforts.
• Schedule an educational workshop for faculty, staff or students.
• Connect to on- and off-campus resources for dating violence, sexual assault or stalking.

John has worked in case management at 妻友社区 since 2019. He is passionate about supporting students through their journey and exploring resources to address challenges and educational/life barriers. He leverages his skillset and history in counseling and advising to build supportive relationships. He holds an MBA and a Master’s of Clinical Counseling and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in adult, organizational learning and leadership here at 妻友社区.

John can help you:

• Adjust to college life and experiences.
• Connect to campus and community resources.
• Manage crisis intervention.
• Discuss hardship withdrawal options.

Crystal has worked in the finance and operations field for over the last fifteen years. She received her Bachelor of Science in business administration, management from Western Governors University (WGU) and is currently pursuing her master's from WGU. Crystal is currently the Director of Admin and Fiscal Operations for Student Affairs, overseeing a variety of units as well as the Division budget.

Andrea has worked in the area of student conduct at the 妻友社区 since 2012 and has an M.Ed. in Counseling from Boston University.

Andrea can help you:

• Discuss the Student Code of Conduct and related processes.
• Answer questions about a Student Code violation.
• Provide assistance with ongoing cases and investigations.
• Learn more about disciplinary holds for non-compliance.

Having worked in the domestic violence and sexual assault crisis field since 2001, Emilie came to Idaho upon completing a Master's Degree in social work at the Ohio State University in 2006. At that time, she was hired by the local victim services agency, Alternatives to Violence of the Palouse (ATVP), to work as a confidential advocate based in the Dean of Students Office. After 10 years with ATVP in advocacy and supervisory roles, she came back to U of I in 2016 to work in Violence Prevention programs, with a shift in 2022 to focus on student support in a case manager role.

Emilie can help you:

• Discuss CARE referrals and any related processes.

Beth has been a part of the Moscow community since 2008. They have bachelor's degrees in English and Philosophy (2013), a secondary teaching certificate (2020) and a master's in Family and Consumer Sciences (2020) from 妻友社区. They will complete a Ph.D. in Education (2024), with a focus on exploring identity and belonging in relation to student and academic success.

Lysa Salsbury has worked at 妻友社区 since 2005. Her last role as director of the Women’s Center allowed her to engage her passion for helping to create a safer and more inclusive environment for all students at 妻友社区. In addition to serving as director of strategic initiatives & planning for the division of Student Affairs, Salsbury is one of the co-directors of the Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies Program, and teaches the WGSS 201 intro class. She is originally from the UK, obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Portuguese at the University of Leeds. Salsbury is also a Vandal alumna, earning her master's in adult/ organizational learning & leadership and her doctorate in education (curriculum & instruction) at 妻友社区.

Sara is a graduate of the 妻友社区 with a bachelor's in Applied Music. She is enthusiastic about university life and helps connect students with the resources and options available at U of I.
