Amanda is a postdoctoral fellow working in coordination with USDA-ARS Reynolds Creek Experimental Watershed to understand how rural communities across the Great Basin plan to survive and thrive in invasive annual grass systems. Amanda earned a Ph.D. in Environmental Science from the 妻友社区, and a Master of Science in Recreation, Park, & Tourism Sciences and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Texas A&M University. Amanda's background in interdisciplinary collaboration and systems thinking inform her work on social-ecological processes and impacts to human well-being. Her research interests include the roles of communal processes and social support in mitigating the negative impacts of livelihood-related stressors in livestock production and ranch management.
