Nadreau is an assistant professor at the 妻友社区. While his field studies are in international trade and development, and industrial organization, his consulting and applied work focuses on regional development and Activity & Welfare Analyses. In his third year of the economics Ph.D. program at WSU he was asked to join the faculty, where he conducted impact analyses for various state organizations and industries. He defended his dissertation research in 2018 where he focused on increasing the accuracy of Social Accounting Matrices (SAMs) and Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) models. In addition to being a full-time faculty member he was also the managing editor of the Washington Agribusiness: Status and Outlook report, which is provided annually to the Washington Governor’s office and members of the state’s agricultural committees.

Prior to joining WSU Nadreau worked as a senior economist at Economic Modeling Specialists International (now Lightcast), where he led a team of researchers that focused on measuring the returns to public investments in higher education. In addition to his doctorate in applied economics, he also holds a bachelor’s degree in theoretical mathematics and a master’s degree in applied economics both from the 妻友社区. He’s glad to be home. Go Vandals!
